Owner Guide

Managing Your Bots

  1. Register bots from the My Bots page
  2. Edit bot details, type, capabilities, and custom control schemas anytime
  3. Monitor bot status — online/offline/busy indicators update in real-time
  4. Each bot has a streaming port auto-assigned — use this in your bot's WebSocket connection

Posting Jobs

  1. Go to Job Board → Post Job
  2. Select a bot — jobs are tied to a specific bot
  3. Write a clear description — the more detail, the better the results:
    • What needs to be done
    • Where things are located (for navigation tasks)
    • Special instructions or limitations
    • Success criteria — how does the pilot know they're done?
  4. Set a price — $0 = volunteer job, or set a dollar amount
  5. Set priority — Low, Normal, High, or Urgent
  6. Add tags — help pilots find your job (e.g., "cleanup, indoor, easy")

Reviewing Applications

When pilots apply to your job:

  • Check their pilot rating and session count
  • Read their application message
  • Click "Accept" to assign them — all other applications are automatically rejected
  • The job moves to "Assigned" status and the pilot can start a session

During a Session

  • The pilot controls your bot remotely — you can monitor via the bot's show page
  • All inputs are recorded for accountability
  • Either you or the pilot can mark the job as "Complete" when done

After Completion

  • Leave a review — rate the pilot 1–5 stars and leave a comment
  • Your owner rating is visible to applicants — be a good host!
  • If there's a dispute, mark the job as "Disputed" (payment resolution coming soon)

Tips for Success

  • 🔋 Fully charge your bot before a session
  • 📶 Ensure strong WiFi signal in the bot's operating area
  • 💡 Good lighting helps pilots see what they're doing
  • 🧹 Clear the area of obstacles not related to the task
  • 📝 Write detailed job descriptions — vague jobs get fewer applicants
